The Village of Liberty is centrally located in the Town of Liberty and is adjacent to New York Route 17 just off exit 100 and only 90 minutes from New York City. The Village of Liberty was incorporated on September 17, 1870, and is governed by an elected Mayor and a Board of Trustees.
